Emergency One and Carrosserie Touw are pleased to announce a new partnership, bringing together two established fire and rescue vehicle specialists to strengthen support for customers across the Netherlands and wider region.

The partnership is structured around a shared approach to delivering tailored fire and rescue solutions. Both companies will work closely together to combine design, manufacturing capability and local technical expertise to better meet the operational needs of fire and rescue services.

Emergency One brings more than three decades of fire and rescue vehicle manufacturing experience, with a reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality emergency response vehicles to customers throughout the UK and overseas.

Founded in 1928, Touw has been active in the Dutch fire and rescue sector since the late 1960s and operates nationwide across the Netherlands. The company is widely recognised for its quality workmanship and its ability to adapt and modify fire and rescue vehicles to meet evolving operational requirements.

Under the partnership, Emergency One and Touw will jointly engage with fire and rescue services across the Netherlands, supporting the delivery and servicing of bespoke fire appliances. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering tailored solutions for fire and rescue services, moving away from a standardised approach in favour of flexible, customer-led vehicle design. 

By working together, both companies can combine their many years of experience to create a “best of both worlds” vehicle concept. This concept is specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of the Dutch market, offering local support and more flexible customer relationships.
